A SPECIAL GIFT
In May of 2013, my husband and I got married. My sister-in-law, Jeanne, gave me a special gift for me to wear on my wedding day. This poem is about the special tiny treasure she gave me and the bond she and I have.
A special gift, silver and blue, lays gently on my wrist. Worn on my wedding day, a tiny treasure, precious to me, given by my sister-to-be, a bond reflected in its hue. Through laughter shared and tears unseen, this piece of love, a gentle gleam. In every moment, it whispers true, a promise held, always anew. Together we’ll travel, hand in hand, through time and memories we will stand, with this small gift, my heart’s embrace, forever treasured, our sacred space. Written by Mia Ball 2/10/2026

Mia what a beautiful gift.
Such a precious gift of new family. I've been blessed with in-laws who became great friends and close family.
