THREE WISHES

I thought this poem should be fun and whimsical. I enjoyed coming up with this one. I hope you enjoy it.

A note in a bottle found in the sand,
the note fell out, into my hand.
Three wishes just for you,
these wishes will come true.

First wish, I wish for me,
a purple dragon I will name Pete,
Pete can fly way up high,
flying into the bright blue sky.

My second wish, I want to take a ride,
ride a hot air balloon across the countryside.
I want to see far away,
then land the balloon and make it stay.

My last wish is an important one,
I wish to have a lot of fun.
I want to run and play,
I don’t want the day to end, I want it to stay.

If I could have one more wish,
I would ask for three more wishes
so I could give them away,
wishes for my friends, come what may.
